Envirolab is co-sponsoring an event with the Center for Latin American and Latinx Studies External Speaker (CLALSES) Series. Dr. Maria Carolina Olarte, an Associate Professor of Law at the Universidad de los Andes, Colombia, will be giving a talk on biodiversity and legal disputes. The title of her talk is “From catch fishery to Court: criminalizing practices of biodiversity conservation and the ‘global shark’.”
